Taryn Lagonigro founded Four Clovers Publishing in 2021, in advance of publishing her first book. From speaking with other authors, she learned that small publishing companies didn’t see the value and therefore did not give attention to works published for the disability community. Seeing a gap, Taryn decided to hire a publishing consultant to learn the right way to publish, and thus, Four Clovers Publishing was born. Named for her four daughters, Taryn wanted FCP to publish meaningful works from herself and many other authors. She also hopes FCP can help bridge another gap - the lack of literature written by or for the disability community. Taryn dreams of publishing works from disabled authors, fiction featuring disabled characters, and non-fiction resources for the disability community.

Owner and founder of Potty Training Consultant, Allison Jandu, is a parent just like you. When it came time to potty train her oldest, she was quickly overwhelmed by all the conflicting information available online and was missing the support and guidance she was after. She didn't think it seemed fair for parents to have to guess their way through potty training - toddlerhood is challenging enough! So, after almost 2 years of research (which is ongoing all the time), she created Potty Training Consultant where she has helped thousands of families potty train. She does not just provide a place to get that one-on-one expert support, but a community where moms can come together without judgment, ask the hard questions, and get evidence-based facts that drive potty success.

Why This Book?
There are an average of 50 million children of potty training age in this world living with a disability.*1 A child with a disability can take, on average, a year longer to potty train than a neurotypical child, with many taking much longer. Despite the huge worldwide population, there are very few resources available that specifically address potty training a child with a disability. The “Potty Training Children with Disabilities” guide will address the unique challenges that individuals with disabilities may face in acquiring this essential life skill. Disabilities can manifest in various forms, impacting physical, cognitive, or sensory abilities, making the conventional approach to potty training less effective. This specialized guide takes into account the diverse needs of individuals with disabilities, offering tailored strategies, adaptive techniques, and practical tips to foster independence and dignity in the potty training process. By acknowledging and accommodating the specific requirements of the many variables someone with a disability may have, this comprehensive guide empowers caregivers, educators, and individuals with disabilities alike, promoting inclusion and ensuring that everyone has access to the tools and knowledge necessary for successful and respectful toilet training.
We'll talk about when to start, how to get in a positive mindset and how to get everyone on board. Included in the book will be mantras, meditation and mindset work to help keep you feeling good through this journey.
